Officials from the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, or NAFDAC, have apprehended a marketer who sells counterfeit lightning creams and pharmaceuticals to the public in Maiduguri, Borno State’s capital.
The Agency said the perpetrator would face the full wrath of the law, to serve as deterrent to others.

NAFDAC has apprehended a marketer who specialises in combining more than ten lightning creams to produce a counterfeit product.
The suspect admitted to the alleged crime.
He claimed that he is unaware of the negative effects of what he is doing.
NAFDAC officials in Borno have pledged to take strong action against those who engage in such activities and to hold them fully accountable.
