The Nigeria Content Development and Monitoring Board (NDCMB) has been praised for its contribution in promoting local content throughout Africa.
Ekperikpo Ekpo, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources and Gas, made this known during his inspection of the Local Content Tower and other ongoing projects in Bayelsa State.
It is the first working visit of The Minister for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Ekperikpo Ekpo to the NCDMB Tower where he doubles as the Co-chairman of the Board of Directors.
He made a stop at the Bayelsa State Government house where he met with the Deputy Governor, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo
The minister also inspected the Fire Fighting unit of the NCDMB who showcased their readiness for any eventuality at the building.
A tour of the NCDMB Creche building was done as well as the inspection of the 204 room NCDMB Conference Hotel before a the visit of the Gas Hub in Polaku
With major projects set for commissioning next, the NCDMB is optimistic about the prospects of more development in the oil and and gas industry.
