At least nine people died when a minibus taxi crashed in Walkerville, outside Johannesburg on Thursday morning.
Reports from the scene indicate that a taxi veered across the roadway and slammed into a concrete bus stop.
Officials say nine people survived the crash but four were very badly injured.
The cause of the crash is being investigated.
