Operatives of the FCT police command anti-kidnapping unit, and troops of the Nigerian Army Guards brigade, have conducted clearance operations of identified bandits camps in Kaduna and Niger states, all bordering FCT. The operations in Gidan Dogo and Jerei forests, in Kaduna and Niger States, resulted in the arrest of 6 suspects who

have confessed of their involvement in kidnappings in Abuja.

According to the spokesman for the FCT police Command, Superintendent of Police Josephine Adeh, operations are ongoing to tackle banditry and kidnapping in the nation’s capital.
