Following waves of misconception that swept through social media amid the announcement of the Tax Identity number requirement for bank transactions linked to Nigeria’s latest tax reforms, the Presidential Fiscal Policy & Tax Reforms Committee has invited journalists, influencers, and public analysts to a special interactive session aimed at deepening public understanding of Nigeria’s new tax laws.

Scheduled for Friday, October 3, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the closed-door session will serve as a platform for media and thought leaders to engage directly with the committee behind the ongoing fiscal policy and tax reform efforts.

According to the organisers, the dialogue will focus on demystifying the new tax framework, addressing grey areas, and equipping attendees with accurate insights needed to educate and engage the wider public.
