Leaders of the All Progressive Congress, from wards, Local governments and state level, including other stakeholders led by the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, have endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as their consensus Candidate for the 2027 General election.
They insist Zamfara remains a stronghold of the APC and a home for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Bello Matawalle, who leads the endorsement at a stakeholders meeting held at the APC Secretariat in Gusau, said the party in Zamfara knows no other candidate than President Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2027.
He said the endorsement follows the good works of the president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is doing in all parts of the Country.
Matawalle described Tinubu’s administration as a government for all, especially those at the grassroots.
“For us in Zamfara State, we don’t have any Candidate for president come 2027 other than President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is doing extremely well in all parts of the tea country”, Matawalle Said.
” Zamfara remains a very strong hold of the APC and all party leaders and executives have agreed to work together for the success of the party and its candidates in future elections,” he added.
On the unity of the APC in the state, the former Governor, now Minister of State for Defence, insist that there’s no division in the party as all have committed to the unity of the party.
Coming together of all party leaders from across the state, according to Matawalle, is a clear indication that the APC Family is now formidable and United, working towards achieving the same goal.
“As you can former Governor Mamuda Shinkafi is here, all former deputy governors, serving and former state and federal lawmakers are here, that shows how United we are,” he maintained.
” I call on our members and supporters to shun any act of division in the party,” he said.
Speakers one after another at the meeting also harp on peaceful coexistence, unity and understanding among the Zamfara APC Family.

On the National Project, Minister Bello Matawalle, Commercial President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, over the Dualization of the Zaria-Gusau- Sokoto road, which he said the work is moving fast.
He assured his people that Tinubu’s government will continue to deliver dividends of Democracy to all.
Thousands of Women, Youths and the aged from across the fourteen Local government areas of Zamfara state attended the political gathering.
Some party faithfuls at the said event, since the APC lost out in the 2023 elections, this is the only gathering that brought together who’s who in the Zamfara APC.
The Zamfara APC Leader, Bello Matawalle, who wants to join the 2027 Governorship race, said he will continue to meet with different political groups that are willing to support Tinubu’s administration.
It would be recalled that the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, had on Thursday evening arrived Gusau, the Capital City of Zamfara, amidst tight security and cheers from thousands of his supporters and lovers of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Minister and his entourage were received by a mammoth crowd, including members of the state working committee of the All Progressive Congress, party stalwarts, Supporters and well-wishers.
They were received by thousands of their supporters from Tsafe Town in Tsafe Local government and Kwatarkwashi, a community in Bungudu local council, which is barely ten kilometres away from Gusau, the city centre.
The warm welcome accorded to the minister, according to him, will push him to do more for the party and its followers.
