Ladoke akintintola University was founded in April 1990 by the old Oyo state but has remained a hotbed of rivalry since the carving of Osun state
in 1991.
Residents hope that the crisis which has lingered for so long will finally restore decorum to the institution’s population of 30,000 students and 1,200 members of staff.
