The Lagos Multi-door court, an Alternative Dispute Resolution Center has called on the National Judicial Council to recognize the vast potentials of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
It also called for the regulation of the confirmation of Senior Advocates of Nigeria in a way that it accommodates lawyers who are involved in the ADR. This they say will encourage the lawyers commitment .
The process of ADR they say is a cheaper, efficient and more time friendly way to resolve disputes including Election disputes.
As they marked Lagos @50, the Lagos Multi-door court invited the public to take advantage of the ADR process in resolving their disputes, especially the settlement week which will come up in June.
