Governor of Kogi State, Usman Ododo has officially launched the All Progressives Congress (APC) electronic registration exercise at his Upogoro Ward in Okene Local Government Area.

The event, which marked the start of the APC e-registration across the state, drew party leaders, stakeholders, and supporters, with Governor Ododo revalidating his membership on the digital platform.

Speaking after completing his registration, Governor Ododo urged Kogites to register en masse, describing the initiative as a key step in strengthening internal party democracy and organisation. He noted that the platform responds to growing interest from Nigerians eager to identify with the APC’s progressive ideology and reform agenda.

The Governor attributed renewed confidence in the party to President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, highlighting improvements in the economy, agriculture, and governance. He called on party leaders at all levels to ensure a smooth rollout of the exercise, directing collaboration between political appointees, council chairmen, and stakeholders across the state.

Governor Ododo also reaffirmed his commitment to good governance, citing notable achievements in security, healthcare, rural electrification, road rehabilitation, education, youth empowerment, and agricultural development. He pledged to continue working to build a safer, more prosperous, and inclusive Kogi State.
