The Emir of Yauri in Kebbi State, Muhammad Zayyanu has tasked traditional titles holders to use their positions to influence growth and development of the society.
The monarch gave the advice at his palace while turbaning some title holders from the area.
Dr Zagyanu said those turbaned were appointed on merit, the titles bestowed on you are esteemed honour to serve your localities and calles on them to use thier position to bring development to your people, assist them accordingly.

Dr. Muhammad Zayyanu also expressed appreciation to Governor Nasir Idris, who was the Special Guest of Honour on the occasion, for providing the Palace with N50 million to procure modern Royal Boat for the Emir for his marine official engagements.
Those turbaned were, the Minister of State for Humanitarian Affairs, Dr. Tanko Yusuf Sununu as ‘Danmadamin Yauri’ and former Senator, Kebbi South, Sen. Bala Ibn Na-ALLAH, as ‘Bauran Yauri’.
The Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda and Member, House of Representatives from Kano State, Alhaji Ado Doguwa, attended the ceremony.
