Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), ending weeks of uncertainty over his political future.
The governor announced his defection on Saturday at the Government House, following a series of consultations amid the protracted crisis within the PDP.
