As part of their engagement, the team is conducting a four-day technical assessment across Kazaure, Gumel, Hadejia, and Dutse, evaluating existing poultry facilities, interacting with farmers, and exploring areas of collaboration, including the establishment of a modern hatchery and poultry feed mill in the state.
Governor Namadi described the partnership as a strategic move to unlock economic opportunities, create jobs, and boost internally generated revenue.
“This is a return visit following our earlier engagement in India, where we explored partnerships in several areas, including poultry development. This is the fourth group from India visiting us as a direct outcome of that trip,” he said.
The governor noted that the state is already seeing results from the India mission, citing agreements on seed production and collaborations in agribusiness and dairy development.
