Jigawa State Pilgrims return home after successful Hajj exercise

The first and second batch of the pilgrims from Jigawa State have arrived  in Dutse,  marking the beginning of their return journey after completing the Hajj exercise in the holy land.

According to Rabi’at Nyako, National Coordinator of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria in Jigawa State, the inaugural flight carried approximately 410 and 500 respectively pilgrims.

After a successful Hajj exercise, the Jigawa State pilgrims have returned home, marking the end of a spiritual journey for 1,296 pilgrims who performed the Islamic rite in Saudi Arabia.

The pilgrims were airlifted from Jigawa State to Saudi Arabia, and their return journey began with the arrival of the first flight, carrying approximately 410 pilgrims while the second batch carried 500 pilgrims.

The final flight is expected to arrive with over 380 pilgrims.

Upon arrival, the Nigeria Immigration Services conducted screening on all pilgrims to ensure a smooth process.

The national coordinator of national Hajj commission in Jigawa State Rabiat Nyako who was among the pilgrims, confirmed that the next flight is scheduled to arrive shortly, carrying the remaining pilgrims.

Abubakar Sani, a member of the Amirul Hajj Committee in Jigawa State, commended the exemplary behavior of the Jigawa State pilgrims during the Hajj exercise.

The successful return of the pilgrims marks the end of a spiritual journey, and they are expected to reunite with their families and share their experiences.
