The death toll from the outbreak of coronavirus in italy has risen in the last twenty-four hours by 427 to 3,405 now.
The Italian Civil Protection Agency said in a press conference that the total number of deaths in the country rose to 3,405.
According to the World Health Organization, as China’s current number of deaths is 3,242, Italy has become the deadliest center of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Meanwhile, the US has approved the anti-malarial drug chloroquine for use as a treatment against the virus.
Mr Trump also promised that the drug will be made available almost immediately.
He said the drugs have gone through the approval process for a while and can now be administered through prescription.
But US Food and Drug Administration, FDA, faulted Mr Trump’s claim, saying it has not approved the drug for treating Coronavirus.
