The Nigerian Army has denied allegations of human rights violations made against its men by Amnesty International.
But an inquiry, in the wake of previous allegations, shows that a good number of detention facilities were over stretched, particularly those where boko haram suspects were kept.

At a news conference, the Army Chief of CiArmy Chief of Civil Military Relations, Major General Nuhu Angbazo, Military Relations, Major General Nuhu Angbazo, said soldiers managed most of the facilities, without assistance from other agencies.
