Gunmen have reportedly attacked a Fulani settlement in Ohiana Village, Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State, abducting two women and killing one man.
The incident was said to have occurred at about 12:24 a.m. on 25 February, when the assailants stormed the community armed with AK-47 rifles, cutlasses and sticks.
Two women, identified as Fatima Ardo, 25, and Saadatu Muhammad, 21, were reportedly abducted during the attack.
A 32-year-old man, Usman Ibrahim, sustained severe injuries and was rushed to Okengwe General Hospital, where he later died while receiving treatment.
Security sources said investigations were ongoing to track down the perpetrators and secure the release of the abducted victims.
