A group of concerns citizens has marched through the streets of Abuja to protest the increasing rate of armed banditry and its attendant toll on the people.
The group urge President Muhamamdu Buhari to declare a state of emergency in the state, stop the killings, kidnappings and take adequate care of displaced persons.
Armed security personnel including policemen and soldiers prevented the grpup from gaining access to the Presidential villa to register their grievances.
FCT Commissioner of Police attended to the angry group insisting they must retreat and wait to be addressed.
