The Southern Kaduna Peoples Union has condemned recent calls by the Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigeria that some elders be executed for peace to be restored in the region.
Members of the group in Jos, the Plateau State capital, say those making that demand do not want an end to the incessant attacks and killings in southern Kaduna.
They want them to be arrested and immediately prosecuted for promoting hate speech.
