Governor of Kogi State, Usman Ododo, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians across the state, Nigeria, and the world, urging citizens to embrace unity, sacrifice, and peaceful coexistence.

The governor described the celebration as a sacred season that reflects love, hope, and the triumph of light over darkness. He noted that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ offer enduring lessons in humility, forgiveness, and renewal.

Governor Ododo called on residents to reflect on these virtues and prioritize the collective good, especially as the state and nation continue efforts toward greater unity, peace, and prosperity.

He reaffirmed his administration’s pledge to protecting lives and property, strengthening security, and creating an enabling environment for sustainable development. The governor also expressed appreciation for the resilience and continued support of the people.

While urging Kogites to use the Easter period for reflection and renewed dedication to harmony and mutual respect, he encouraged citizens to support the less privileged and pray for the state and the nation.

Governor Ododo wished residents a peaceful and joyful Easter celebration, praying for renewed hope, strength, and blessings for all.
