The Gombe State police commissioner, Hayatu Usman has assured residents of adequate security following violent protests.
The commissioner explained that all security agencies are fully mobilised and strategically positioned to curtail criminal actions.
The security commander also commended residents for helping the police recover looted items.
Seven police officers sustained serious injuries in Thursday’s protest.
