The Federal Government has called on Nigerians to embrace unity, hope and renewal as Christians across the country mark the Easter celebration.
The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, in an Easter message, said the season reflects the values of sacrifice, faith and new beginnings.
He noted that Easter serves as a reminder of the power of faith to overcome adversity, urging citizens to draw strength from its message in building a more united nation.
“May it strengthen the bonds of unity that hold us together as one nation, and inspire us to continue building a Nigeria where peace, tolerance and goodwill prevail,” he said.
The minister also extended warm Easter greetings to Christians celebrating within the country and in the diaspora.
He reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to fostering national unity and promoting peaceful coexistence among all Nigerians.
