A number of ex militants who are being trained as part of the Amnesty programme would further be trained at an indigenous automobile academy.
At a news conference in Abuja, Coordinator of the Amnesty Programme, Paul Boroh, discloses that a deal between the some state governments in the Niger Delta and an indigenous automobile company would result in the establishment of automobile academy and plants in the region.
The Presidential Adviser on the Niger Delta explains that such training would further engage the beneficiaries to shun violence and engender peace.
