The Federal government is to spend 21 million US dollars for the metering of 187 flow stations across the Niger Delta region of Nigeria and Advance Cargo project.
The minister of State for Petroleum Resources revealed this while briefing journalists in Abuja. He said the metering is to ensure proper accountability for the quantity of products and exports.
According to the Minister, the Advance Cargo project will help to monitor every cargo crude oil loaded in Nigeria to its final destination.
Both projects are to be completed within a period of one hundred and eighty days.
