Indications are that the meeting brokered by the federal government to resolve the disputes between oil workers and Dangote Refinery will end in a stalemate.

This is because after more than six hours behind closed doors, both parties are yet to agree on key issues of dispute.

A source at the meeting confided in TVC News that a memorandum of understanding had been reached, but one of the parties in dispute declined to append its signature.

At several times in the course of the meeting, both parties were seen pacing around the minister’s office and conversing in low tones.
