Former military governor of the Mid-West State, Samuel Osaigbovo Ogbemudia is dead.
He passed away Friday morning in Benin, the Edo State capital at the age of 84
Ogbemudia, who was also elected civilian governor of the defunct Bendel state after winning the August 1983 gubernatorial election under the platform of the National Party of Nigeria, was said to have battling with an undisclosed ailment.
Born on 17th September 1932, the retired officer, politician and sports promoter was said to be unable to stand on his feet.
