River State has called on the Cross River State government under the able leadership of Sen. Prof. Ben AYADE on the need for a health center, good road and installation of telecommunication mask in their community.

One of the age grade leader, Wisdom disclosed in an interview in with TVC News Correspondence, Rita Aju,  that such palliative measures would reduce the suffering of those in the community.

According to him, the deplorable state of roads in Ogoja and Egbe Mbube to be precised and its environs has been the major challenge confronting the personnel of the unit and public in the area.

“There is an urgent need for the State Government to come to the aid of the people by providing measures that will reduce their hardship,’’ he said. ” Please our governor should come to our aid, we don’t have network for mobile phones, we don’t have hospitals around, we only treat ourselves locally, not even a good road can be found in our community. Infact we are living in bondage in Egbe Mbube, Ogoja. ”

Another youth , Victor Afibi Oremi, explained that the road networks in Egbe Mbube and its environs were bad, adding that they had become death traps for the people, and lack of telecommunication networks separates the community people from the happenings around the world, as their is no light to listen to news or even water to drink. ”This development has also affected business activities in Ogoja”, he said.
