Economic activities still continue in broad Street despite the recent fire incident that occurred at Afriland towers.
But for the tower, operation has been suspended with security operatives on standby within the premises.
Part of the tower a beehive of activities on any day on Lagos Island was gutted by fire on Tuesday with 11 people working with some of the establisments using it reported to have lost their lives.
The Federal Inland Revenue Service lost four senior members of Staff, the United Capital PLC also lost 6 persons, while the last person worked for a commercial bank also using the tower.
