The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission says complaints from consumers to the 11 Electricity distribution companies across the Country amounted over three hundred Thousand within the last three months of 2024.
The new figures according to the Electricity Sector regulator is an increase of 14% from the previous quarter.
The report also shows that Electricity consumers got N207.4 Million as credit adjustments following the resiolution of disputes between customers and various electricity distribution companies.
The issues of inappropriate billing took the lion share of report followed by metering problems, tarrif band complaints and Others.
