Nollywood actor, Kenneth Okonkwo and actor turned lawmaker Desmond Elliot were among the twenty recipients of the Glazier person of the year award for their role in positively influencing youths in the year 2017.
The organizer of the award Omawunmi Ogbe believes the lives of the recipients is an inspiration to young people in Nigeria and would challenge them to strive for excellence.
Also among the nominees are Lanre Olusola the catalyst, Media Practitioner Onimisi Adaba and a campaigner of the Bring Back Our Girls Group, Bukky Shonibare.
Nigeria’s multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Bez was also a recipient. The award winning musician says youths should pursue their dreams with the little resources at their disposal.
