Retirees of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria PHCN have protested against the non payment of their thirty three percent Pension increase awarded by the federal government in 2010.
The PHCN pensioners gathered at the Lagos office of the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate and chanted solidarity songs.
The group alleges that the former president of the Electricity sector of the Nigerian Union of Pensioners, Temple Ubani is trying to jeopardize the full payment of their pension by instituting a court case.
