The Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to take immediate action to address the growing hunger and insecurity in the country.
Belusochukwu Enwere, the national chairman stated that the group commended the President for his efforts in reviving the economy, citing the recent passage of the ₦70,000 minimum wage Act, granting of local government autonomy, and implementation of the Student Loan Fund.
However, Enwere emphasized that these reforms are not enough to address the current economic hardship and insecurity faced by millions of Nigerians.
