Global superstar Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has officially joined the ranks of the world’s billionaires, with Forbes confirming her net worth has crossed the $1 billion mark.

The achievement makes her only the fifth musician globally to reach billionaire status.

At 44, Beyoncé now joins an exclusive circle that includes Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Bruce Springsteen and her husband, hip-hop mogul Jay-Z, whose fortune is estimated at $2.5 billion.

According to Forbes, Beyoncé’s leap into the billionaire club was fueled largely by the extraordinary success of her 2023 Renaissance World Tour, which generated close to $600 million in revenue and ranked among the highest-grossing tours in music history.

The magazine described the three-hour, career-spanning performances as one of the defining live music events of the year, further cementing her influence in global pop culture.

Her financial momentum continued in 2024 with the release of Cowboy Carter, a country-inspired album that expanded her commercial reach.

The project opened doors to major opportunities, including a headline-grabbing NFL Christmas Day halftime performance and what would become the highest-grossing concert tour of 2025.

Beyoncé also maximised earnings from the Renaissance era by releasing a concert film independently through AMC Theaters, allowing her to retain roughly half of its $44 million global box office revenue.

The critically acclaimed Cowboy Carter album, which explored the Black origins of country music and went on to win Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards, inspired another major tour.

Despite reports of slower ticket sales in some regions, the Cowboy Carter Tour reportedly earned more than $400 million from ticket sales, alongside an additional $50 million from merchandise.

Forbes further noted that lucrative partnerships, including a Netflix NFL halftime deal and a major Levi’s advertising campaign, added an estimated $60 million to her earnings.

Already the most decorated artiste in Grammy history with 35 awards, Beyoncé continues to expand her influence and wealth through music, film and a growing portfolio of business ventures, reinforcing her status as one of the most powerful figures in global entertainment.
