Benin Republic congratulates Nigeria on 65th Independence anniversary

The Republic of Benin has congratulated the Nigerian people on the occasion of their 65th independence anniversary.

In a terse statement via the official X handle of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Benin, the neighboring country prayed for the longevity and continual bond between the two West African neighbours.

The statement reads: “Benin extends its warm congratulations to the Nigerian people on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the independence of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“Long live the bonds of friendship and brotherhood that unite our two nations.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​”
