Six persons have been killed by suspected armed bandits in Chikun local government area of Kaduna state.
Police said the gunmen invaded Udawa village in the local government to cause the mayhem.
But beyond the killings, the bandits also inflicted gunshot wounds on a community member and rustled a yet to be verified number of cattle.
Policemen have been mobilised to the area to fish out the culprits and recover the stolen cattle.
