Following the death of infamous terrorist Isiyaku Boderi in Kaduna state, the Nigerian Army’s One Division has made it clear that their top priorities are reestablishing public trust and advancing lawful economic endeavors.

In a routine operational tour to Buruku in Chikun Local Government, villagers, who have endured numerous bandit onslaughts, commended the army for this significant achievement.

It’s a happy day for residents of Buruku in Chikun local council which is one of the vulnerable communities situated in the frontline regions of Kaduna state.

Villagers in this area have faced bandit attacks spearheaded by the notorious bandit Isiyaku Boderi who carries out brutal attacks, mass abductions and cruel killing.

An operational feedback from the army on Wednesday confirmed the killing of Boderi and five other bandits, a development the villagers had long prayed for.

The bandits’ deadly attacks spanned Sabon Birni, Gwagwada, Rijana and Kateri general areas, the Kaduna-Abuja Road, the Kaduna-Birnin Gwari Road, as well as communities in neighbouring Niger State

Boderi, estimated to be in his mid-thirties, was the mastermind behind the terrorist onslaught on institutions such as the NDA, Greenfield, and the College of Forestry Afaka.

The Kaduna state government is grateful to the Army for putting an end to Boderi’s reign of terror, which is believed to have spanned the last eight years.

This operational tour of Valentine Okoro, General Officer commanding 1 Division Nigerian Army comes on the heels of recent success by the troops.

He is visiting to boost their moral.

He reiterates their commitment to protecting citizens and giving enemies of peace a Bloody nose.
