The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Adamawa State, Hamza Bello Madagali, has resigned his membership of the party alongside the entire state executive council and PDP chairmen and their executives across all 21 Local Government Areas of the State.
Addressing journalists at the party secretariat, the former chairman announced that the mass defection followed what he described as extensive consultations among party stakeholders and grassroots leaders across the State.
According to him, the move reflects a collective position of party leadership at both the State and local government levels, stressing that the executives across the 21 LGAs unanimously agreed to resign from the PDP.
The development marks a significant political shift in Adamawa State’s political landscape and is expected to further reshape party structures ahead of future political activities in the State.
