Actors Timini, Dakore Egbuson lose father

Nollywood actor and film producer Timini Egbuson has announced the passing of his father.

Egbuson broke the news on Sunday via his official Instagram page, where he shared an emotional tribute reflecting his grief and sense of loss.

“Didn’t think I’ll start the year saying this .. Rest in peace Dad. So much left unsaid, but I’ll keep making you proud,” he wrote.

Timini, who is the younger brother of actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande, has since received an outpouring of condolences from colleagues and fans across the entertainment industry.

Several prominent Nollywood personalities took to the comment section to express their sympathy, including Funke Akindele, Uzee Usman, Kiekie, Gabriel Afolayan and Mercy Aigbe, all of whom offered prayers and words of comfort to the bereaved actor.

Funke Akindele wrote, “May Daddy’s soul rest in peace,” while Uzee Usman added, “So sorry for your loss… may his gentle soul rest in peace.”
