Armed men suspected to be herdsmen had attacked a school in an attempt to kidnap the principal, his vice and other teachers.

A student of the school was interviewed and recounts the event that took the life of a teacher in her school and a member of the local vigilante group whose bravery helped in release of the principal, vice principal and three others.

Leader of the vigilante group who are still on alert just like security operatives in the area also narrated what happened.

There is palpable fear in the community as the people say such attack has never taken place there.

But at the police Headquarters in Asaba, the Command Public relations Officer who confirmed the arrest of one the Armed men reassured the residents of Iselle Azagba that security have been beefed in that area

The school has remained closed as the rescued principal, his Vice and teacher as still recovering from the shock and parents have been advised to keep their children and wards at home.
