The Federal Executive Council (FEC) will now meet on Monday, October the 7th to put finishing touches on the 2020 budget that will be presented to the National Assembly on Tuesday.
In a statement signed by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, the meeting which was earlier scheduled for today will have to wait till 12 noon on Monday, although no specific reason was given for the postponement.
The Federal government says it is determined to ensure the budget is concluded and passed for implementation from January next year.
The meeting is expected be chaired by President Muhammadu Buhari.
