The Speaker of Nigeria’s House of Representatives is in a meeting with the leadership of university teachers and the Auditor General of the Federation.
In his opening remarks, Femi Gbajabiamila, said the meeting is aimed at marrying the IPPIS and ASUU’s UTAS as payment platform for the universities.
The Auditor General of the Federation, Adophus Aghughu, renews the commitment of the office of the Accountant General to accommodate all the legitimate peculiarities of ASUU and the University community as a whole.
ASUU President, Emmanuel Osodeke, says the strike was suspended on trust but worries that no document has been signed to know what is on the table for his members.
