Zamfara state governor Mohammed Bello Matawalle Maradun has approved the reinstatement of 556 teachers who were recruited by the Immediate past administration but refused to be enlisted and paid their salaries or other entitlements.
This was contained in a press statement issued by Yusuf Idris Gusau,
Director General Press Affairs.
He said that the governor’s approval followed a directive to the state Head of Service for their Immediate reinstatement and payment of their salaries effective from this month of September.
Matawalle also commended their patience and urged them to be of good conduct in the state civil Service.
