Former Super Falcons and Enyimba head coach, Kadiri Ikhana, has backed Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr to secure a World Cup ticket, while commending the German for selecting the best Nigerian players abroad for the World Cup qualifier against the Fennecs of Algeria billed for Uyo on November 12.
Ikhana who was in Abuja for the CAF B coaching license course said Rohr has done well so far in his invitation of players and their usage for matches, adding that the coach knows what he wants and is getting maximum support from the Nigeria Football Federation.
He expressed optimism that the Super Eagles will qualify for the World Cup if they do not drop any more points at home after the win in Zambia, stressing that it will be difficult for either Algeria or Cameroon to get a result in Zambia.
