The Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers wants the teaching of Insurance to be included in secondary school curriculum to awaken the consciousness of Nigerians on the benefit of insuring property.
The president, Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers, Sola Tinubu stated this in Osogbo during the conferment of fellow of the Council on the Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola.
The event which took place at the banquet hall of the Government House, Osogbo began with a cocktail, followed by oath of admission on the Governor and subsequent investiture and decoration as fellow of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers.
In his remarks, Governor Gboyega Oyetola promised to promised to sustain the tenets of insurance profession.
The President, Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers believes awareness is not enough among Nigerians on the importance of insurance to the Economy.
Highlights of the event was the presentation of gifts to the Executives of the council of Registered Insurance Brokers
The Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers was established in 1962 to provide a central Organization for the regulation of all practicing insurance Brokers in Nigeria.
