A delegation from NUFFIC, an educational institution in the Netherlands is seeking collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Education on various fields of education.
The team leader in a meeting with officials in the ministry said, the country was ready to deliver on staff training, curriculum development and
other areas of interest to the country’s educational system.

In 2018, the united States consul General F.John Bray disclosed that there are 11,710 students from Nigeria studying in the States.
This number puts Nigeria as the first in the sub Saharan Africa and 12th in the world studying in the United states, a trend many have blamed on the poor educational system in Nigeria.
The team is in Nigeria to seek collaboration with the Nigeria government on improving its educational system following a drastic increase in the
number of Nigerians seeking formal education in the Netherlands.
Nigeria has been in need of the collaboration for massive training of teachers and human development that would in turn ensure the advancement of the sector.
The priority areas of the ministry for the partnership includes, exchange of students in long and short term programmes, education management
information, exchange visits, and study and lecture tours for university professors.
