The House of Representatives are currently holding a valedictory session, signalling the end of the 8th Assembly which was inaugurated in 2015.
In attendance are the representative of President Muhamamdu Buhari, former Speakers including. Gali Umar Naaba and Patricia Etteh. Others are former Deputy Speakers, including Imo state governor, Emeka Ihedioha.
Our National Assembly Correspondents report that the lawmakers are seeing taking time to reflect on activities that took place in the outgoing 8th Assembly, with a promise to have a better 9th Assembly.
