The Nigeria Police have lost two personnel to bandits in Birnin Gwari local government area of Kaduna state.
This came after a gun battle with the bandits who invaded Kakangi community in the local government on Saturday evening.
The bandits were said to have arrived the Police station at Kakangi, raining bullets on it.
Thereafter, they proceeded destroying houses and killing innocent people, many at a wedding ceremony.
Police in the State have confirmed the attack, adding that three of the bandits were also gunned down.
