The Chairman of the Panel, Femi Awani said the demand for extension of time will give him and his team opportunity to complete their assignment.

Properties worth millions of naira were destroyed, and this prompted the State Government to impose curfew in the community, which was lifted after two days.

The Chairman of the Panel, Femi Awani after receiving reports from different parties, asked government to give him and his team more time. He said the two weeks given to the panel was not enough to complete the assignment.

Governor Akeredolu had the panel two weeks to look into the remote and immediate causes of the crisis, which rocked Oba-Akoko during the h House
of Assembly Election.
