2023: Gombe Gov'ship candidate Barde optimistic of victory at polls

The Governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic party Muhammad Jibrin Barde has said his party has the capacity to unlock the economic potential of the state, create jobs for young people and cater for the well-being of the citizens.

He also expressed confidence in the leadership of the former governor of the state Ibrahim Dankwambo and believes he will lead the party to victory at the polls next year.

He said this as a huge crowd of supporters in Gombe welcomed him at the Gombe International Airport as a sign of their commitment to ensuring he emerged victorious at the polls in 2023.

The former governor also called on party faithful to close ranks and support candidates of the PDP at all levels ensuring the reclaim Gombe and return to the path of growth and
development.

He also used the opportunity ask his supporters and well-wishers to visit their polling units in their areas to get their PVCs.

“My dear good people of Gombe, the INEC in our dear state has taken delivery of thousand of PVCs and I am calling on all of you to proceed as from tomorrow to collect yours.

He promised not to disappoint the people  as he said his administration will be people oriented, with a human face if voted into power in next year’s election

“We will build infrastructures, revamp our health sectors and build capacities for our youths, women and the men alike.

“Dividends of democracy won’t be for only a few persons who are in the inner circle as it is happening now.

Barde assured his supporters and people of Gombe of a new beginning that will usher in a new lease of life for everyone in the state.
