Nasarawa State Donates Relief Materials to flood Victims, Communities

The Nasarawa State Government has donated relief materials to victims of the flood disaster in the state.

Over Four Hundred Thousand Rural Dwellers in Ninety Two Communities have been affected by the floods.

The National Emergency Management Agency is also supporting the state Government with relief materials to assuage the pains of the victims.

Reports of floods ravaging communities in Nasarawa State.

About 400,000 rural Dwellers in 92 communities across the state are currently affected.

Their lands, houses, farmlands and valuables are all gone, the National Emergency Management Agency is not leaving anything to chance.

The agency is donating these relief materials to the Nasarawa State Governor to help the victims pull through.

The Nasarawa State Government for its part is taking steps to commiserate with the affected communities and provide relief materials for them.

The state governor Abdullahi Sule visited one of the worst affected communities in Awe and Tunga.

This visit to the affected communities is aimed at cushioning the effect of hardship occasioned by the flood and possibly proffer solutions to forestall a reoccurrence.
