The Kaduna state government has confirmed reports of renewed attacks in Kajuru and Kachia local government areas of the state.
Reasons behind the attacks are still sketchy, but the government in a press statement condemns the recourse to violence.
It calls on communities in the area to support efforts to restore calm in the area.
In the meantime, security personnel have arrived the affected areas to restore confidence in the locals.
